Scattering of ashes

After a cremation, families often take their time before deciding what to do with their loved one’s ashes. Some choose a meaningful anniversary, others wait until they find a place that feels right for scattering, and some prefer to inter the ashes in a chosen burial plot. When the moment comes, it’s usually a family member who is expected to say a few words, which can feel like a heavy responsibility during an already emotional time.

As a celebrant, this is where I can help. I create and lead personalised memorial and ash-scattering ceremonies that honour the person you love and support your family in marking the occasion with care and dignity. This can be especially comforting when a direct cremation has taken place, as many families value having their own dedicated ceremony, guided by someone who understands how to hold the space gently and respectfully.
